Terry L. Ferguson

Terry L. Ferguson, 85, of McConnelsville peacefully passed away in the late-night hours of Thursday, October 10, 2019 in his riverside home with his family by his side.

Terry was born on September 15, 1934 in New Lexington, a son to the late, Harry and Evelyn (née: Duncan) Ferguson.

He will always be remembered for his good-natured self, his awesome sense of humor and his never-ending love for his family. He was a friend to all and will be deeply missed.

Surviving Terry in life are his wife whom he married May 17, 2010, Toni (née: Roush) Ferguson of the home; his daughter, Cathy Sherrick, his step-daughters, Carrie (TJ) Glanemann and Kelee (Kenny) Park; his sisters, Anna Marie Street and Beverly Sue Ferguson; his grandchildren, Austin, Brooke, Morgan, Brayden, Colton, Sheriden, Carson, Little T as well as several other grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Terry also leaves behind numerous special friends including, Tim Matheney, Jeff Stickle, Brad Stillions, Arlene Bennett and Patti (Jerry) McKibbon.

The family would like to offer their sincerest appreciation to the nurses of Interim Hospice Care for their unending help. A special shout out to those nurses, Jenni whom Terry referred to as “Heifer”, Alice (AKA: Gladys), Lisa (AKA: Dizzy) and Sara (AKA: Prego).

In addition to his parents, welcoming Terry into eternal life are his wife, Bernice Ferguson who died, June 4, 1997; his son, Michael Ferguson; his siblings; Jim Ferguson, Tom Ferguson, Maxine Reed and Mary Skeenes.

The Ferguson family would like to invite all to visit from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM and 6:00 PM-8:00 PM, Monday, October 14, 2019 at the Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, October 15 at the funeral home with Pastor Dan Hinkle presenting services. Terry will then be laid to rest next to his first wife, Bernice.
