Shaun Michael Randall, 43, of Zanesville died in the early morning hours of Friday, May 19, 2023, at his home following an extended illness.
He was born the only son to his parents, Ronald Randall, and Rebecca (Killian) Swiney on August 8, 1979, in Canton.
Shaun was a former chef for Zak’s Restaurant in Zanesville. Shaun had many hobbies, he enjoyed video games, especially on his PlayStation, he never missed an episode of WWE Wrestling, or watching his Cleveland Browns. After the death of his wife, Angel in October of 2022, Shaun had a very difficult time and deeply mourned her until his own death. He will always be remembered as the brother and uncle who cooked chili and a joy to be around. His family will greatly miss him.
Shaun leaves behind a whole host of family and friends, including his parents, Ronald Randall, and Rebecca Swiney; his daughter, April Randall, his sisters, Lenna Kinney and Misty Randall; his nieces and nephews, Raymond Kinney, Frederick (Kristin) Kinney, III, Angel Kinney, Maria Kinney, Shannon Cassidy and Tommy Cassidy, Jr; as well as several special friends and family.
Preceding Shaun in death are his wife, Angel Randall, his brother-in-law, Frederick Kinney, Sr.; his maternal grandparents, Ken and Donna Killian and his paternal grandparents, Jim and Beverly Randall.
Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects from, 4-8:00 PM, Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville. An open mic celebration of life will start at 8:00 PM, where friends and family are invited to share stories about Shaun. Following services, Shaun will be cremated and returned to his family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
