Rose Marie Savage, 64, of Crooksville, Ohio passed away peacefully in the morning of Saturday, November 4, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born December 5, 1958 in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Howard and Roberta (nee: Kinney) Goodin.
Rose was a homemaker, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to many. She was an excellent baker and made delicious candy for every holiday. She was an avid bingo player and, in the past, was very involved in crocheting, especially doll clothes. Rose was loved by her family and friends and will be sadly missed by all.
Left behind to mourn her passing are her children, Bobbie and Keith Treadway, Melissa Savage and Billy Savage; her siblings, Sue (Wayne) Richards, Jason (Wendy) Goodin and Jessica (Brian) Campbell; her grandchildren, Dalton (Jenna) Kinney, Kaitlyn Penn, Makenzie Jones, Paisley Treadway and Christopher Penn; her bonus grandkids, Hannah and Colton Thacker and Kailee Hoffman and her great grandson, Ja’von (JJ) Penn.
In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Lee Savage, Sr.; her son, Daniel Lee Savage, Jr. and her grandchildren, Keisha and Austin Kinney.
Family and friends may pay their respects beginning at 10 AM until time of service, Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM, Tuesday with Pastor Tony Richard as celebrant. Rose will be laid to rest next to her husband and many other family members in Crooksville Cemetery.
