Jeffrey L. Jadwin, 59, of Roseville, Ohio died at 2:17 PM, Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House in Zanesville.
He was born January 17, 1963 in Zanesville, the eldest son of the late Melvin Lee ‘Pete’ Jadwin and Donna Sue (nee: Allen) Jadwin of Portersville.
Jeff was a former employee of Malta Manufacturing and Jeld-Wen Manufacturing in Pataskala where he assembled windows and doors at both jobs. In his leisure time, he enjoyed mushroom and ginseng hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling and bowling on some leagues at Fiore’s in New Lexington.
Jeff was Methodist by faith and he served our country in the US Army in the mid 1980’s.
In addition to his mother, he will be sadly missed by his wife of 30 years, Janie L. (nee: Van Matre) Jadwin; his daughter, Tiffany Renee Van Matre; his grandchildren, Hayden J. Lee Benjamin, Ethan Russell Benjamin and Ella Jane Van Matre and his brother and sister-in-law, Gregory Alan and Linda Jadwin.
Family and friends will be received 3-7 PM, Friday, November 11 at Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville where funeral services will be held at 7 PM with Kyle Eveland as celebrant. Jeff will be cremated following the services. Jeff will be laid to rest next to his father in Zion Cemetery at a later date.
Contributions may be made in Jeff’s memory to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care, 713 Forest Ave., Zanesville, OH 43701. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
