Jean Ann Kinney, 41, of Roseville died in the morning hours of Tuesday, March 9, 2021 in Genesis Hospital. Her family chose to honor her life by choosing donation of her liver and kidneys-these gifts will give others second chances at life.

She was born one of six children to the late Herb and Becky (Holmes) Cain on December 5, 1979.

Jean was a crafter. One could always find her creating some work of art through many mediums, such as, drawing and painting. She was also known as a novice woodworker, known for her “god-awful” gnomes of which she adored. She had a deep fascination with the mining industry, especially the underground rail tunnels and shafts used for excavating earth. She was a good person, who showed her love for her family in her own special way. Jean will truly be missed.

Surviving Jean in life are her children, Ashlee Kinney (Clayton Ferguson) and Gary Kinney, Jr., her siblings, Christina Reed, Becky Dutiel, Ginger Tittle, Herb Cain and Buddy Cain; her grandchildren, Indy Ferguson and Emory Ferguson, as well as, her nieces and nephews, Cierra Ellis, Natasha Reed, Jacoby Reed, Summer Dunwoody and Levi Speakman.

In addition to her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Mary Holmes and her “sister” Amy Hiles.
