James L. Burley, 60, of Crooksville peacefully died in the afternoon hours of October 24, 2022, at his home, following an extended illness.
He was born the only son to his parents, the late James “Jake” Burley and his mother, Karen (nee: Duff) Burley on January 25, 1962.
Jim was quite the handy man, specializing in carpentry, electricity, and HVAC repair. He used his skills through the years during his employment at PCC Airfoils and the Heat-Treating Co. In his spare time, Jim could always be found tinkering and making things. He especially enjoyed driving his demolition derby car.
Surviving Jim in life are his mother, Karen Burley, his sisters, Robin Maier, Jackie (Mark) Hague, and Trish (Travis) Willison, a special niece, Abby Maier as well as, several other nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.
Jim is preceded in death by his father, Jake who died August 29, 2022.
In keeping with his wishes, the family has chosen to mourn privately and have Jim cremated.
