Harold Buzz Wickham, Jr.

Harold L. ‘Buzz’ Wickham, Jr., 57, of Cambridge, Ohio, formerly of Crooksville died at 2:13 PM, Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Canton Select Specialty Hospital.

He was born August 10, 1964 in Zanesville, the son of the late Harold Wickham, Sr. and Joanne Savage.

Buzz was a very caring and loving Grandpa, although stubborn at times, he enjoyed helping others and spending quality time with his grandkids, family and friends.  He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns fan.  He had worked as cashier at Dairy Mart/Circle K in Crooksville and Cambridge and most recently at Goodwill in Cambridge.

Left behind to mourn his passing are his step children, Nicole (Josh) Dalrymple and Shawn Shuster (Jennifer Lewin); step-grandchildren, Chelsey Embry, Cody Wilson and Connor Shuster; siblings, Judy (Rick Rutter) Wickham, James (Amy) Wickham, Jason Wickham and Kathy (Shawn) Booth; nieces and nephews, Jeff, Mike, Jessica, Stephanie, James, Jr., Dalton, Dillon, Megan, Thomas, Lindsey, Tyler, Nicole, Jason, Hannah, Kelly, Makayla and Shawn, Jr.; aunts and uncles, Cora (James) Wheeler, Tammy Lyons, Debbie (Ron) Miller, Terry (Christie) Savage, Richard (Cathy) Savage, Danny (Rose) Savage, John Savage, Bob Wickham, Don (Alice) Wickham, Betty Lent, Janice Smith and Ruth Bost; several great nieces and nephews; special friend and mother of his step-children, Jane Smalley and special friend, like a sister, Andrea (Glen) Stollar.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his step dad, Bill Thompson; grandparents, Lyle and Corabelle Savage and Ed and Mary Wickham; aunts and uncles, Linda Green, Lana Head and David Savage and special friends, Loretta Stollar, Marsha Pitzen and Treu Bemis.

Family and friends will be received 2-6 PM, Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville.  Funeral services will be held at 6 PM Sunday at the funeral home with Paula Caton as celebrant.  Buzz will be cremated following the services.

The family invites anyone who wishes to wear something Buckeyes or Browns to the service to honor Buzz’s memory.  Contributions may be made to help with funeral expenses to Goebel Funeral Home.
