Donna was a former pottery worker at The Hull Pottery and later at Beaumont Pottery both in Crooksville. In her leisure time, she enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles. Her main interest in life was her family. Her children adored her and said that she was the most loving and caring person they have ever known and felt honored that she was their momma. Donna was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her first great-grandson, Lucas Gardner will be here in about three weeks.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry D. Dawkins who died December 7, 1991; her great grandson, Jakers Bush; her brothers, Walter Ernest Ross and Ronald Lee Ross; her son-in-law, Rodney Bankes; her loving brother-in-law, Earl Lipps, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Mildred (nee: Hashburger) Dawkins and her special friend, Mike Love.
