Caroline (McIntyre) Cannon

November 6, 1929 — February 21, 2021

Roseville

Caroline Cannon, 91, of Roseville, passed into eternal life to dwell with her Lord in the afternoon hours of Sunday, February 21, 2021 in her home with her loving family by her side.

She was born one of five children to the late John and Hazel (nee: Hammer) McIntyre on November 6, 1929 in Rose Farm.

Caroline was a woman who dearly loved her family and had been tireless in her quest for selflessness: so much so that she spent her life caring for others, including many foster children. She enjoyed spending hours putting together jigsaw puzzles and used those moments as an opportunity to spend quality time watching her grandchildren grow. Caroline was the designated picture taker, always wanting to capture those precious moments. She will always be remembered for her exceptional skill in playing the piano, especially her ability to play any song in any key.

With all her skills and traits being admired by her family and those that knew her, her family takes the greatest pride in her choice to accept Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. As a young girl she made this decision and spent her entire life dedicated in service to Him. Her message to those still living would be, to put your trust in and serve Jesus-turn your burdens over to Him and He will provide-and to use her life as proof for this.

Left to mourn her passing are her children, Kathy Young, Beth Young and Jack Martin; her brother, Paul Jewett; her grandchildren, Lori (Joe) Browett, Kelly Baughman and Kerry (Kevin) Bobb; her great-grandchildren, Brandon Barnes, Levi Bobb, Hannah Bobb and Sidney Baughman; her close friends, Dave Barnes and Ricky Baughman; her nieces and nephew, Janet Finley, Ruth Ann Welsh and Larry Parker and all their children.

In addition to her parents, Caroline is welcomed into eternal life by her husband, Robert E. Cannon, her unborn middle child, her siblings, Margaret Parker, Dorothy Adkins and Howard McIntyre; her grandson-in-law, Kelly Border; sons-in-law, Sonny Young and Joe Young and several beloved aunts and uncles.

Friends are invited to mourn with the family from 12:00 PM-1:00 PM, Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at the Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville where a word of prayer will be offered at the conclusion. A committal service will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Roseville led by Pastor Larry Harper. Caroline will be laid to eternal rest beside her late husband Robert.

Restrictions such as proper use of facial coverings, social distancing, and building occupancy due to COVID-19 will be enforced.
