Betty Ann (Persinger) Larabee

Betty Ann Larabee, 56, o Zanesville, formerly of Crooksville died t 7:48 AM, Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

She was born January 19, 1965 in Lancaster, Ohio, the daughter of the late Jesse James and Ruth (nee: McClung) Persinger.

Betty was a former employee of Anchor Hocking Co. in Lancaster and formerly the director of The Crooksville-Roseville Pottery Museum.  She attended Pilgrim Holiness Church in Crooksville.  Betty was a devoted mom, she loved her kids and all the kids she raised as her own.  She enjoyed gardening and watching Star Trek, M A S H, Little House on The Prairie and scary movies.

Left behind to mourn her passing are her children, Zachariah Larabee (Tori Hazlett), Jessica Larabee (Jeff Barrett), Melinda Larabee (Mindee Head), Ashley Hanson (Brett Garrett), and her step-daughter, Crystal (Roger) Dalrymple and her fur-baby, Lucy.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her significant other, Tommy Carpenter and her siblings, Jesse James Persinger, Jr., Richard Persinger and Diane Persinger.

The family will hold private visitation at Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville.  Betty will be cremated following the services.
