William Davis Woodward

William Davis Woodward, 86, of Crooksville, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Genesis Healthcare in Zanesville.

Bill was born October 23, 1930 in Crooksville, the son of the late Frank and Ollie (Pennell) Woodward.

Bill served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from Rockwell International where he ran the lathe. In addition, Bill was a member of the Cornerstone Full Gospel Church.

He is survived by his daughters, Christina (Richard) West of Nashport and Connie Woodward (Jeff Hinkle) of Crooksville; his son, Curt Woodward of Zanesville; his five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Riley Woodward who passed away August 8, 2016; his son, Steven D. Woodward; his sister, Eleanor Hunt and his brothers, Frank Woodward, Duke Woodward and Don Woodward.

In keeping with Bill's wishes he will be cremated.
