William L. Rosser

William L. 'Bill' Rosser, 74 of Sylvania, Ohio passed away Monday, October 3, 2011 at Ebeid Hospice Residence at Flower Hospital in Sylvania surrounded by family and friends.

Bill was born July 1, 1937 in Crooksville, Ohio, the son of the late John Milton and Edith Marie Riffle Rosser.

Bill proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He retired in August 1989 from Ford Motor Company after working for 23 years in the Woodhaven, Michigan stamping plant.
Mr. Rosser was a member of the VFW in Delaware, Ohio

Bill is survived by his children, Dave Hennessey and Michelle (George) Mancy all of Sylvania and Jennifer (Clay) Mason of Belleville, Illinois; his grandchildren, Erika, Montana, Dylan, Ayden, Nikolas, Tatum and Sophia; his sisters, Evelyn McLean of Roseville, Eleanor Starner of South Zanesville, Shirley (Joe) Wilson of Thornville, Sandy (Jim) Savage of Crooksville and Diana (Kenny) Harris of Roseville; his brothers, Ron (Sandy) Rosser and John (Barbara) Rosser, all of Roseville, Roger (Lou) Rosser of Lambertville, Michigan and Larry (Judie) Rosser of Crooksville.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by sisters, JoAnn Bateson, Judy Thomas and Patricia Stover and brothers, Gary, Richard, Jimmy and Donnie Rosser.

Family and friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Thursday, October 6 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Bill's life will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 7 at the funeral home with Pastor Conard Wolf officiating. Burial will follow in Iliff Cemetery, McLuney with full military honors.

Memorial contributions may be made to Ebeid Hospice Residence, 5340 Harroun Rd., Sylvania, Ohio 43560. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
