Wanda J. Duncan, 82, of Mt. Vernon and Formerly of Crooksville, passed away at 9:45 A.M., Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Country Court Care Center in Mt. Vernon after an extended illness. She was born February 22, 1927 in Crooksville to the late Glenn Trussell and Myrtle Weston Trussell. Wanda was a former security guard and was formerly employed by Essex Wire. She was Free Methodist by faith. Wanda is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Gordon Duncan of Mt. Vernon; her daughter, Carolyn Gifford of Zanesville; her brother, Henry Trussell of Zanesville; six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Helena Hughes and Alice Gibbs; and her brothers, William, Clarence and Clark Trussell.
