Timothy David Thomas

Timothy David Thomas, 56, of Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 9:47 PM, Friday, March 30, 2012 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

Tim was born November 12, 1955 in Zanesville, the son of the late James W. "Drag" and Lillian R. Frash Thomas.

Mr. Thomas was a disabled self-employed construction contractor. He was a former member of New Hope United Methodist Church in Crooksville. He was a member of the Sons of The American Legion Post 222 in Crooksville and a social member of the VFW Post 9090 of Crooksville-Roseville.

Tim is survived by his wife of 23 years, April "Sam" Aichele; his sisters, Judy Dobbins of Cannelville and Sue Coronado of Zanesville; his brother, Jon Thomas of Florida and his twin brother, Ted Thomas of Crooksville; his bubbie, Jackson; several nieces and nephews and many close friends.

In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his sister, Diana Blake; brother, Michael Thomas and nephew, Paul Dobbins.

Family and friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Monday, April 2, 2012 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Tim's life will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 3 at the funeral home with Rev. Gay E. Blau officiating. Burial will follow in Crooksville Cemetery.
