Shirley J. Pheister Goodfellow

Shirley Jeanne (Pheister) Goodfellow, 89, of Thornville, Ohio, formerly of Crooksville passed away at 10:56 PM, Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark following a sudden illness.

Shirley was born October 6, 1924 in Covington, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Oral and Aimee (Davidson) Williams.

She was a former salesperson. She attended Rose Farm Church of Christ.

Shirley is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Miriam 'Mimi' and Ed Savage of Crooksville; her sons and daughter-in-law, Mark and Marcelia Pheister of Reynoldsburg and Tim Pheister and Susan Manifold of Marblehead and Lake Whales, Florida; her grandchildren, Jenna(Jason)Nelson, Heather(Darrell) Getz, Penny(John) Tritsch, Jason(Erin) Pheister and Kevin (Robbie) Pheister and nine great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marjorie.

Family and friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Wednesday, April 16 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Shirley's life will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 17 at Rose Farm Church of Christ, 8561 McKinley St., (Rose Farm) Crooksville. Cremation will follow.
