Sandra Kay (Sharkey) Beaty

Sandra Kay Beaty, 76, of Zanesville passed away in the afternoon hours of Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Genesis Hospital following a brief illness.

She was born one of six daughters on July 20, 1946, to the late, Clarence and Bonnie (nee: Wilson) Sharkey.

Dee Dee, as she was affectionately known by her many nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; great-great nieces and great-great nephews and enjoyed her role as such. She was an incredibly devoted sister and put family before all else. Surviving her husband by 56 days, she is eternally reunited with the love of her life, Ronald Beaty who died August 24, 2022.

Surviving Sandy in life are her sisters, Bonnie Marie Smith, Sarah “Winnie” Stalter, Shirley Mae Snider and Patricia “Pat” Gibson along with a whole host of nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved and who will deeply miss her.

In addition to her parents, preceding Sandy in death is her husband, Ronald;  her sister, Barbara Molitor, as well as, a few special nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Sandy’s wishes, her family has chosen to have her cremated with no public services. A celebration of life for her and Ron will be celebrated at a later date.
