Ruth Janet Ferguson Moore Kepner

Ruth Janet Ferguson Moore Kepner, 87 of Willow Haven Care Center, Zanesville passed away surrounded by her loving family at 4:35 P.M., Friday, March 19, 2010 following an extended illness.

She was born May 7, 1922 in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Thomas and Jeanie McMillan Ferguson. Ruth was retired from American Match Co. in Zanesville and was a member of the New Lexington Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Penny(the late, Donald) Watkins of Carlisle and Starla (Dan) Peterson of Nashport; her son, Brent (Jay) Moore of Roseville; her sister, Betty Henning of Texas; her sisters-in-law, Marty (Lambert) Peck of Lancaster and Rema (Cannon) Ferguson of Reynoldsburg; thirteen grandchildren, Janet (Ike) Johnson, Katina (Eric) Sibcy, Holly Herron, Angela (Thomas) Plumbo, Cari (Ed) Butler, Chad (Tracy)Campbell, Heather (Drew) Layne, Brady (Rose) Campbell, Camala (Brian) Barker, Shantae (Matt) Smith, Tyler Moore; twenty-one great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her first husband, Marvin Moore who died Oct. 20, 1960; her second husband, Fred Kepner who died in 1985.; her brothers, Ralph, Bob, and James Ferguson; one grandson, Ronald Campbell and one great grandson, Jordan Butler.

BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE where funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, March 21 with Pastor Jeff Armbrust officiating.
