Rosella Mae Stoneburner, 95, died in the morning hours of Thursday, January 1, 2026, at the Genesis Morrison House.

She was born on March 2, 1930, in Misco, Ohio, a daughter to the late John and Goldie (Lanning) Wolfe.

Rose spent many years as a beautician, where her creative talents and warm demeanor touched the lives of her clients. Later, she worked for Bryant Controls for over 15 years as an assembly line worker.A member of the Deavertown United Methodist Church, Rose found solace and community in her faith, which guided her throughout her life. She enjoyed her time at the Clay Gardens Retirement Community in Zanesville, where she became known for her kind heart and gentle demeanor.

Rose was a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, leaving behind her loving sons, Bryan Stoneburner, Tom (Chris) Stoneburner and William (Connie) Stoneburner. She took immense pride in her family, which included her grandchildren Tabitha (Richard) Rush, Traci (Chris) Casto, Todd Stoneburner; her step-grandchildren, Don (Janet) Rudawsky, and Scott (Amy) Rudawsky, as well as her great-grandchildren Harlee, Haleigh, Andrew, Cameron, Braeden, Nathan, Natalie, Sienna, and Treston. Rose's quiet strength and nurturing spirit will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Rose is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Bryan Stoneburner who died May 20, 2008; her grandson, Joel Stoneburner and her brother, Melvin Wolfe.

In keeping with her wishes, private services have taken place and Rosella was buried next to her husband in Jerusalem Lutheran Cemetery in Deavertown.
