Robert G. Spillman

Robert G. Spillman, 68, of Crooksville, Ohio, formerly of Columbus, passed away at 7:30 PM, Sunday, August 9, 2015 at his residence.

He was born May 28, 1947 in Columbus, the son of the late Manley and Dorothy Prince Spillman.

Bob was retired from Sherwin-Williams in Columbus where he had worked as a team leader for the company. He served our country in the US Army in Vietnam from 1966-1968.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Janet Ruzicka Spillman; his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Julia Spillman, II of Thornville and his son, Dustin Spillman and his finance, Arin Towse of Nashport; his sisters, Karen Osbourne and her finance, Larry Baviera of Grove City; Effie Spillman and Mary Spillman both of Columbus; his grandchildren, Robert Gary,III, Ashley, Amanda, Jonas, Kaleb, Jenna Spillman and Caiden Towse and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received 6:00-9:00 PM, Wednesday, August 12 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE where military honors will be presented. A dignified cremation will follow.
