Robert L. Pitcock, 84, of Roseville, Ohio passed away at 1:50 AM, Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House in Zanesville following an extended illness.

Bob was born July 2, 1931 in Crooksville, the son of the late Charles W. and Mildred (Molihan) Pitcock.

He was the former owner and operator of The Brown Jug Bar and The Burley Run Inn, both near Crooksville. Later, he retired from Crooksville Coal Co. Bob was an avid stock car driver. His loves in life were his family and Las Vegas.

Bob is survived by his wife of thirty years, Karen K. (Houston) Pitcock; his children and their spouses, Rhonda (Jesse) Yates of Crooksville, Joan (Derek) Taylor, Dee (Ron) Smith, all of Crooksville, Carla Hill of Portersville, Vikki (Gary) Price of Crooksville, Mona 'Bugs' Pitcock of Crooksville, Roger Pitcock of Roseville, Paul (Linda) Pitcock, of New Concord, John (Amber) Pitcock and Eric (Molly) Lane, all of Roseville; his sisters, Patty Mattey and Donna Garris, both of Roseville; his brother, Charles (Rhea) Pitcock of White Cottage; 23 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren and numerous great great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his children, Susie, Robert and Larry Leroy Pitcock and Barb Davis and his sisters, Betty Brannon, Sondra Anderson and Ardeth Pitcock.

Family and friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Thursday, May 12 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Private family graveside services will be held and burial will take place in Mt. Horeb Cemetery.
