Robert D. Pete Jones

Robert D. 'Pete' Jones, 86, of Roseville, Ohio passed away at 7:15 AM, Friday, October 19, 2012 at his daughter's residence in Roseville surrounded by his loving family following an extended illness.

Pete was born August 30, 1926 in Congo, the son of the late Ralph David and Vinnie Curran Jones.

Mr. Jones served our country in the US Army in WW2. He was a former area coal miner.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Dorothy Hubbard Jones; his daughters, Susan Talbot, Angie (Dick) Morosko, Lynn (Jerry) Bradley, Lori (Jerry) Dunn, Missy (Mike) Blosser, Shelli (Chip) Davis, and Tami (Dan) Scott; his sons, Randy (Vicki) Trout, Scott (Carolyn) Jones, Marty (Julie) Jones, and Shawn(Erica) Jones; his sister, Ruth Ann Caldwell and his brother, Lawrence Jones; his daughter-in-law, Marci Jones; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Pete was preceded in death by his son, Randy Jones; brothers, Johnny Jones, Ed Barton and Thomas Barton; sister, Fern Barton; and grandchildren, Jenna and Blake Mumford.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, October 22 at Rose Hill Cemetery. Burial will follow the graveside service with Pastor Tom Myers officiating.
