Rashawn Alan Yuchasz

Rashawn Alan Yuchasz, 14, of Somerset, Ohio passed away at 5:10 PM, Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Nationwide Childrens' Hospital in Columbus following an extended illness.

He was born July 16, 2002 in Columbus, the son of Ken and Robin (Nelson) Yuchasz.

Rashawn was very proud to be a student at Sheridan Middle School and he had a great team of teachers and aides. He loved and was loved by everyone he met, who are too numerous to count.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his twin sister, Raven Brooke Yuchasz of the home; his brothers, James (Lacey) Grimmett of Crooksville, Josh Grimmett and Kristi Mickus of Somerset, Wisconsin and Ben Amspaugh of Somerset, Ohio; his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Dana Wilson of Ortonville, Michigan; his nieces, Madison and Remington Grimmett; the special nurses that loved and care for him, Jennifer Bohn, Charlotte Myers, April Poling and Vicki Staffey; his special great aunt, Nellie Kirkbride and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Rashawn was preceded in death by his brother, Kyle Anthony Yuchasz who passed away August 4, 2005; his maternal grandparents, Eldon and Catherine Nelson and his paternal grandfather, Joseph C. Yuchasz.

Family and friends will be received 1:00-3:00 Pm, Monday, August 1, 2016 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE, OHIO . Funeral services and a celebration of Rashawn's life will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Rhonda Harmless officiating. He will be buried in Crooksville Cemetery next to his brother, Kyle.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions may be made in Rashawn's memory to the Perry County District Library, 117 S. Jackson St. New Lexington, OH 43764 or Ohio History Center, 800 E. 17th Ave., Columbus, OH 43211. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
