Ralph Allen Houk, 72, Passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2009.
He was born December 13, 1936 in McLuney, son of the late Ralph E. "Butch" & Annis Price Houk.
Ralph was Protestant by faith, and a United States Army Veteran. He was an avid OSU Buckeye fan, Cleveland Browns fan and enjoyed NASCAR. He worked for many years in the Oil Fields and as a Pottery Worker.
He is survived by his son, Billy (AJ) Sowers of Knob Noster, MO; grandchildren, David Allen and Jaden Ann; sisters, Bonnie (Don) Finnell of New Lexington, Carol (Angelo) Toney of Crooksville, and Sue (Jack) Sheline of Roseville; brothers, Larry (Joan) Houk and Gary (Vikki) Price of Crooksville.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Sowers Houk; a brother, Raymond Houk; sister, Sharon Ora Price; and a nephew, Tommey Luster.
Calling hours will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 today at the Goebel Funeral Home 36 N. Buckeye St. Crooksville. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 24, 2009 with the Rev. Larry Penrod officiating.
Burial will follow in Iliff Cemetery, McLuney with full military graveside rites.
