Ralph R. Clark

June 30, 1927 — February 20, 2011

Ralph Richard Clark, 83, of Crooksville, Ohio formerly of Arcanum passed away Sunday, February 20, 2011 at New Lexington Care and Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness.

Mr. Clark was born on July 6, 1927 in Lucasville, the son of the late Chessman and Minnie Smith Clark.

Ralph was a WW2 veteran of the US Marine Corps.
After retiring from Moormans Feed Company, he worked for ten years at the Arcanum Hardware Store. Mr. Clark was a past member of the Lions Club, Arcanum City Council and was an avid bowler at Arcanum Lanes. Ralph and his wife of 61 years, Virginia Bennett Clark, lived in Arcanum for 45 years prior to moving to Crooksville.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Shirley Clark and Connie (Paul) Montgomery all of Crooksville; two sons, Bill (Ginny) Bennett of Statesboro, Georgia and Richard (Linda) Clark of Arcanum; thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Ralph is preceded in death by his daughter, Alice Clark Klinger; brother, Hobart Clark and two infant brothers.

Funeral services and a celebration of Ralph's life will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, February 24 at Kreitzer Funeral Home in Arcanum. The family will receive visitors two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow in Ithaca Cemetery.
