Pearl Jean Brown, 75, of Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 6:52 PM, Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Cedar Hill Care Center in Zanesville following a brief illness.

She was born March 13, 1942 in Fultonham, the daughter of the late William and Annie Mae (Gullett) Jenkins.

Pearl was a homemaker, a loving wife to her late husband and a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her sons and their spouses, Terry and Vickie Brown, Mark and Shelly Brown and Tom Brown, all of Crooksville; her brother, Larry Jenkins of Riverview, Florida; her grandchildren, Cody Brown, Kacy (Nate) Hammer and Ashley (Mike) Dalrymple; her great grandchildren, Kali, Seth, Cadin and Braxton and her sisters-in-law, Charlene Jenkins and Freda Jenkins, both of Zanesville.

In addition to her parents, Pearl was preceded in death by her husband, Dale L. Brown who passed away February 26, 2015; her brothers, William and Ray Jenkins; an infant sister and her son's girlfriend, Dee Tigner.

Family and friends will be received 3:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, May 30 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Pearl's life will be held at 1:00 AM, Wednesday, May 31 at the funeral home with Pastor Marc Caton officiating. Burial will follow in Crooksville Cemetery.
