Paul Elmo Weiner, 70 of Corning, Ohio peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family at 6:55 PM, on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Genesis Good Samaritan CCU in Zanesville following an extended illness.

Paul was born November 28, 1943 in Zanesville, the son of the late Fredrick Samuel and Julia Ellen Jadwin Weiner.

He was a former machinist and tooling engineer for United Technologies in Zanesville. He was also a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church in Corning.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of fifty-one years, Marsha Russell Weiner of the home; his daughter, Julie (David) McGill of Corning; his sons, Paul (Sheri) Weiner of Oakfield, Michael Weiner (Missy Warden) of Marietta and Mark (Trisha) Weiner of Corning; his sisters, Janet Burton of New Palestine, Indiana, Margaret Kronenbitter of Zanesville, Ohio, Debbie (Ab) Reed of Sayre and Teresa (David) Horn of Portersville; his brother, Fred (Marsha) Weiner of Hebron; his ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Morgan Jalanna Weiner; brothers-in-law, John Burton and Gary Kronenbitter and his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Pat and Margie Caldarulo and Butch and Carol Brown.

Friends and family will be received 2:00 PM-4:00 PM and 6:00 PM-8:00 PM, Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Vigil and rosary services will be held at 8:00 PM. A funeral mass will be 11:00 AM, Monday, November 17, 2014 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 309 N. Main St., New Lexington with Fr. James Csaszar as celebrant. Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery in Portersville.

Memorial contributions may be made in Paul's name to St. Rose School, 309 N. Main St., New Lexington, OH 43764. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
