Paul David Butler Sr

Paul David Butler, Sr., 69, of Willow Spring, North Carolina, formerly of Mt. Dora, Florida and Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 7:13 PM, Thursday, Spetmber 13, 2012 at the home of his son following a brief illness.

Dave was born July 31, 1943 in Zanesville, Ohio the son of the late Robert A. and Mary Burnece Barber Butler.

Mr. Butler was a retired engineer with Sprint Telephone Company. He is a member of Peerless Lodge 591 F. & A.M. of Crooksville. He is Methodist by faith.

Dave is survived by his sons, Paul D. Butler, Jr of Mt. Dora Florida and Derek A.(Judie) Butler of Willow Spring, North Carolina; six grandchildren, Taylor, Kaitlin, Liam, David James, Brian and Joe Butler.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol L. 'Kay' Longstreth Butler who passed away August 29, 2007.

Family and friends will be received 10:00 AM-1:00 PM, Saturday, September 22 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE, OHIO. Funeral services and a celebration of Dave's life will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor John Sellars officiating. Burial will follow in Crooksville Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will available at the funeral home.
