Patsy J. Cavinee

Patsy Jane Cavinee, 79 of Vaughn St., Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 12:10 P.M., Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at her residence. She was born December 18, 1930 in Crooksville the daughter of the late Emmett and Mary Elizabeth Moore Brown. Patsy was a homemaker and loved caring for the flower gardens in her yard and she enjoyed sewing. She was a member of First Hope United Methodist Church in Crooksville.

Patsy is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, William E. Cavinee; her daughters and sons-in-law, Marsha and Rick Smith, Mary and Craig Brannon, Melissa and Doug Lundell, and Marilyn and Stewart Murray all of Crooksville; her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Marcia Cavinee of Crooksville; her brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Pearl Brown of Crooksville; fifteen grandchildren, Amy(Shane) Hartley, Chad Smith (Kristi), Jeremy(Shannon) Brannon, Jamey(Darla) Brannon, Jenny Brannon, Michelle(Tom) Collins, Maria(John) Thompson, Michael Cavinee, Trisha(Greg) McKenzie, Kayla Lundell, Colt(Sara) Lundell, Johnny Lundell, Bill(Angel) Murray, Brooke(Brian) Murray, and Blake(Audra) Murray; sixteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Scottie Lee Smith; brother, Gilbert Brown; sister, Wanda Dieckow and brother-in-law, Paul Dieckow.

A private funeral and celebration of Patsy's life will be held for the family with Pastor Gay E. Blau officiating. Burial will follow in Crooksville Cemetery.
