Nancy Jane Williams

Nancy Jane Williams, 73, of Roseville, Ohio passed away at 3:38 PM. Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at her son's residence after an extended illness.

She was born September 22, 1939 in Crooksville, the daughter of the late Harold "Red" and Lena Wolfe Spangler.

Nancy was a former employee of Brush Pottery in Roseville, Essex Wire and 5B's Embroidery, both in Zanesville, and a consultant for Longaberger Basket Company in Dresden. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Roseville, as well as the Roseville Villagettes Mothers' Club, Red Hats Group of Roseville and the Perry County Senior Council.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Steve Moody of Zanesville; her sons and daughters-in-law Kelly and Brenda Williams and Kevin and Renaye Williams all of Roseville; her sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Larry Frash of Roseville; thirteen grandchildren, Jessica and John Spears, Andrea Williams, Brady Williams and Robin Rutter, Dustin Williams, Matthew and Patricia Williams , Wesley Williams, Jacob Williams, Jenna Lavey and Brandon Lawson, Heather Ward, Kasey and Kasey Brownrigg, Brandon Bates, Josh Moody and Ashley and Josh Parrish; seven great grandchildren, Brian, Kyrstien and Kaliegh Durst, Blake Spears, Mason Stacy, Korbin Williams and Lyla Brownrigg and Nancy's dog "Buddy Boy".

In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Dan O'Dell Williams who passed away May 26, 2004; her grandson, Brian Daniel Williams and her son-in-law, Max Ward.

Family and friends will be received 5-8:00 PM, Friday, July 5, 2013 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Nancy's life will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 6 at the funeral home with Rev. Alex Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 104 N. Main Street, Roseville will host a luncheon for family and friends following the interment.

Memorial contributions may be made be made to Perry County Cancer Alliance, P.O. Box 724, New Lexington, Ohio 43764, and Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care, 713 Forest Ave, Zanesville, Ohio 43701. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
