Mollie Bee Williams

December 16, 1933 — October 15, 2013

Mollie Bee Williams, of Crooksville passed away peacefully at 8:45 pm, Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born December 16, 1933 in Crooksville, the daughter of the late Philip Moore and Helen (Meade) Moore. She married Charles D. Williams on July 3, 1969 and was a member of Christ's Church of Crooksville.

Mollie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who greatly enjoyed the time she spent with her family, traveling and watching all her grandchildren in their activities. She was retired from Crooksville Schools as a cook at the K-8 for 23 years and was a member of the VFW Auxiliary #9090.

Mollie is survived by her three daughters; Vicky (Wally) Nelson of Crooksville, Bonnie Reed of New Lexington and her friend Randy Rodgers of Philo, Danya (Mike) Dosch of Hopewell. Nine grandchildren; Dr. Neely Nelson, Libby (Travis) Avery, Hilary (Greg) Gallagher, Matt (Nicole Broseus) Reed, Eric (Misty) Reed; LeAnne, Brandi, Levi, and Shawn Dosch; ten great grandchildren: Joshua Munoz, Caulin Wilson, Sage and Daisi Reed, Teagan, Tapp, and Trigg Gallagher, Kedrin and Rohin Avery, and Tinley Reed. Three sisters, Mary Donaldson, Georgeann Tatman of Crooksville, Sue (Stan) McHenry of Roseville; one brother John (Kathy) Moore of Zanesville, and sister-in-law Vickie Moore of Zanesville and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mollie was preceded in death by her husband Chuck Williams who died July 13, 2011; one son Mike Williams, one sister Emma Moore Dunn and one brother Bill Moore.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 on Friday, October 18, 2013 at The Goebel Funeral Home, 36 North Buckeye Street, Crooksville where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, October 19, 2013 with Stan McHenry officiating. Burial will follow in Iliff Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The Community Bank of Crooksville for the Mollie Bee Williams Scholarship Fund.
