Mary Ann Spewak

Mary Ann Spewak, 71, of New Lexington, Ohio passed away at 2:04 PM, Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Genesis Healthcare Emergency Room following a sudden illness.

She was born April 19, 1944 in Florida, the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Florence Newlon Spewak.

Mary Ann had worked in nursing home care and hair care in local nursing homes and beauty salons. She was Methodist by faith.

Mary Ann is survived by her aunt, Jean Newlon of New Lexington; her cousins, Jenny Reichley of Dresden, Cathy Combs of Crooksville, Tammy Shriner of Junction City, Ginger Fletcher of Westerville; Joan Keubler of Mt. Laurel, New Jersey and her friend and caregiver, Dale Albright of New Lexington.

A dignified cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, August 14 at the First United Methodist Church, 126 S. High St., New Lexington with Pastor Doug Widdowson officiating. Burial of Mary Ann's cremated remains will be in New Lexington Cemetery immediately following the service.
