Marsha Kay Weiner, 79, of Corning, Ohio went to be with her Lord and Savior at 10:55 AM, Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Aviata Nursing Home in New Lexington, surrounded by her loving children. Marsha was born Thursday, September 12, 1946 in New Lexington, the daughter of the late Jesse and Marie (Patterson) Russell. Marsha was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Family was the very fabric of her existence. She loved her family beyond measure and would always put them first. She was a fantastic cook, especially her homemade chicken noodles and she prepared with love many wonderful family meals. Marsha was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Reds fan and enjoyed watching sporting events. She had recently developed a love of adult coloring. Marsha was a devout member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in New Lexington and she had a profound devotion to our Blessed Mother Mary and prayed the Rosary daily on the phone with her sister-in-law, Margaret. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Left behind to mourn her passing are her beloved children and their spouses, Paul James and Sheri Weiner, Michael Weiner and Missy, Mark and Trisha Weiner and Julie and David McGill; her beloved grandchildren, Jared Weiner, Matthew (Kelsie) Weiner, Nicholas (Chelsea) Weiner, Alaina Weiner (Chris Brison), Jordan (Joe) Skarbek, Dakota (Camrin) McGill, and Isaac McGill (Miah Toth); her darling great-grandchildren, Gavin, Marley, Rory, Marshall, Liam, Paislee, Addyson, Rylee, Callan, Simon, Lucy, Grace, Everhett and another on the way. She is also survived by her siblings Betty Acito, Kandy (Steve) Baker, Ellen Russell, Jane Russell and Pat Russell. In addition to her parents, Marsha was welcomed into Eternity by her husband, Paul E. Weiner who passed away November 12, 2014, her grandchild, Morgan Weiner; her great-grandchild, River Jordan Weiner and her siblings, Carol Brown, Margie Caldarulo and Jim Russell. Family and friends may visit to pay their respects and console the family 2-7:30 PM, Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 309 N. Main St, New Lexington. Vigil and Rosary will be led at 7:30pm by her son, Deacon Mark. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM, Wednesday, July 22 at St. Rose with Father Emmanuel Adu Addai as celebrant and Deacon Ed Christ assisting. Marsha will be laid to rest next to her husband in Zion Cemetery, Portersville. Contributions may be made in memory of Marsha to Fairview Assisting Living, 5550 St. Rt 37 E, New Lexington, OH 43764.
