Margie Marie Neff

Margie Marie Neff, 95, of New Lexington, Ohio, passed away 11:20 AM, Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born January 19, 1922 in McLuney, the daughter of the late Arthur Hill and Sylvia West Barker.

Margie had worked for the Hull Pottery in Crooksville.

She is survived by her daughters, Catherine (William) Hartshorn of Crooksville, Duanna (Roger) Eveland of Crooksville and Becky (Kevin) Kinnan of New Lexington; her son, Stephen (Candy) Neff of New Lexington; her nineteen grandchildren; her twenty-three great-grandchildren and her eight great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Margie is preceded in death by her husband, Fielden Arthur Neff who passed away September 9, 2002; her daughter, Donna Lou Penrod; her sons, Fielden Arthur Neff, Jr. and David Lee Neff; her sister, Betty Spung; her brother, Everett Hill and her half-sister, Catherine Dollings.

Family and friends will be received 2:00 PM-4:00 PM and 6:00 PM-8:00 PM, Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Margie’s life will be 11:00 AM, Friday, July 7 at the funeral home with Pastor Marc Caton officiating. Burial will follow in Crooksville Cemetery.
