Lloyd W. Whitehead

Lloyd W. Whitehead, 73, of Malta, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at 12:04 PM following a brief illness.

Lloyd was born in Crooksville on August 11, 1940 to the late Francis and Anna Shirkey Whitehead.

He was a steel worker by trade and he greatly enjoyed fishing.

Lloyd is survived by his several stepchildren; his many grandchildren and great grandchildren; his great-great granddaughter and his loving dog Wally.

In addition to his parents, Lloyd is preceded in death by his loving wife Marilyn Jean Whitehead who passed away July 18, 2004.
Family and friends will be received 11:00AM-1:00PM, Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Graveside services and a celebration of Lloyds's life will be held at 1:30 PM Wednesday at Zion Cemetery in Portersville with Jim Hammers officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery next to his wife.
