Linda Jane Henning, 63, of Crooksville died in the evening hours of Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Altercare in Thornville following a 7 year-long battle with Dementia.
She was born, one of six children to the late, Elmer and Lorean (Rigdon) Drydon on May 18, 1959, along the banks of the Ohio River.
Linda moved to the Roseville area with her sister where she met her husband, Carl. They were married in 1990 and stayed by each other’s side until her peaceful return to her Lord and Savior. A deeply religious woman, Linda was committed to her God, she practiced her faith within the walls of Cornerstone South Family Life Church in McConnelsville where she devotedly prayed and worshipped her Savior. Her family finds great comfort that she is no longer suffering in this world but is dancing in the streets of gold in Heaven.
Surviving Linda in life are her husband, Carl Henning, her step-children, Rod (Teresa) Henning and Jason (Anna) Henning; her siblings, Debbie (Tony) Watson, Sandy Craycraft, Phil (Kathy) Dryden and Terry (Sherry) Dryden and her grandchildren, Logan, Dalton and Elizabeth Henning. Linda also leaves behind a very special friend and caregiver who never waivered in her kindness, Penny McMillan.
In addition to her parents, welcoming Linda into eternal life is her brother, Dale Dryden.
Friends and family are welcome to pay their final respects from 2-4:00 PM, Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St. Crooksville. Funeral services will be rendered 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 19 at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Smith officiating. Linda will then be buried in Mt Horeb Cemetery.
