Lenora Ellen Boggs

Lenora Ellen Boggs, 81 formerly of Crooksville passed away at 11:30 P.M., Friday, July 2, 2010 at Genesis Health & Rehab in McConnelsville following an extended illness. She was born August 18, 1928 in McLuney the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Groves. Lenora was a homemaker.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda & Gary Lodwick of Scottsdale, Arizona; her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Karen Boggs of Zanesville, Ohio; her brother, Nathan Groves of Kissimmee, Florida; two grandchildren, John and William Chakeres; two step grandchildren, James and Heather Kadri. In addition to her parents, Lenora was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Boggs who died October 19, 1983; Fannie Palmer, the lady who raised her;
five sisters, Betty, Gladys, Ethel, Blanche, and Lilly; brother, Charles Grove; and son-in-law, Don Kinney.

At her request, cremation will take place. A memorial service and celebration of Lenora's life will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, July 19, 2010 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. The family will receive visitors beginning at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Iliff Cemetery, McLuney.
