Laura Rosemary Weaver

Laura Rosemary Weaver, 88, of Crooksville, Ohio passed away peacefully at 12:20 AM, Friday, October 21, 2016 at her residence.

She was born January 1, 1928 at Milligan's Bend, the daughter of the late Hugh Benton and Cecil Faye (Eveland) Stoneburner.

Many years ago, Rosemary had worked in various offices in the Perry County Court House.She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Rosefarm Church of Christ.

Rosemary is survived by her daughter, Sharon Yost of Roseville; her sons, Ben and Cathy Weaver of Blacklick, Larry and Judy Weaver of Junction City and Terry Weaver of the home; her sisters, Louise Carletti of Zanesville and Pauline (Johnny) Loop of Winter Haven Florida; her sister-in-law, Rosella Stoneburner; her grandchildren, Sabrina (Larry) Rosser of Crooksville, Jeremy (Nicole) Weaver and Miranda Weaver, all of Blacklick, Jean Yost of Roseville, Katrina (Jeff) McGlothlin, Tom (Britni) Weaver and Blake Weaver, all of Junction City and her great grandchildren, Paige Rosser, Brittney Spires/Weaver, Jacob, Karen, Brayden, Cole, Isabella, Jaxson, Morgan and Garrett Weaver.

In addition to her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Robert Weaver who passed away May 3, 2004; her son, Roger Kevin Weaver; her sisters, Louella Fulk, Jenny Smith and Margie Palmer; her brothers, Harold, Levi, Morris, Vernon and Raymond Stoneburner and her son-in-law, Paul Yost.

Family and friends will be received 2:00-4:00 PM, Sunday, October 23 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Taylor officiating. Cremation will follow. Burial in New Lexington Cemetery will take place at a later date.
