Larry F. Di Nunzio

Larry F. (Breeze) Di Nunzio,64, of Corning, Ohio passed away at 4:05 AM, Friday, April 29, 2011 at his residence following an extended illness.

Larry was born February 4, 1947 in New Castle, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Louis and Mary Agnes Gregory Di Nunzio.

He was the owner and operator of Cherrie Car Company of Crooksville and Moxahala. Larry had served in the US Army in the Vietnam War. He was a member and former president of Chapter F of the Vietnam Veterans Motorcycle Club of Columbus.

Mr. Di Nunzio is survived by his daughter, Patricia Mylea Di Nunzio of Corning; his sons, Jack Pletz (Sarah) Di Nunzio of Cleveland and Scott Alan Di Nunzio (Karen) of Colorado; his grandchildren, Savannah, Sandy, Scottie, Jonathan and Gavin Di Nunzio and Layla Varner and his confidant and caregiver, Iva Spicer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen "Kat" Dodson who passed away November 9, 2007.

The Di Nunzio family will receive visitors 2:00-5:00 PM, Monday, May 2 at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church, 425 Adams St., Corning.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at 5:00 PM, Monday at the church with Father Victor Wesolowski as celebrant. In keeping with Larry's wishes, cremation will follow.
