In Loving Memory of Kymberlea Dawn Satterfield
God welcomed an angel into heaven on February 4, 2024, as Kymberlea Dawn Satterfield peacefully passed away in Zanesville following a years long battle with heart failure. Born on August 6, 1981, in Galveston Island, Texas, Kym's journey on Earth was filled with love, compassion, and a deep dedication to her family and community.
Kym was a cherished wife, devoted mother, and talented photographer. Her warm spirit and infectious smile touched the lives of everyone she encountered. She leaves behind her beloved husband of nearly twenty years, Nathan Satterfield, who was her rock and soulmate throughout their beautiful journey together. Together, they built a foundation of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
As a mother, Kym's heart overflowed with love for her three children: Kamryn Julianne Satterfield, Cole Steven Satterfield, and Clayton Jeffrey Satterfield. She embraced the joys and challenges of motherhood with unwavering strength and grace, enriching their lives with her boundless affection and tireless devotion. Her children were her pride and joy, and her presence in their lives will always be felt.
Kym's professional achievements were equally remarkable. With her passion for photography, she founded Kymberlea Photography, capturing the essence of precious moments and creating cherished memories for families and friends. Her creative eye, coupled with her kind and compassionate nature, made her a beloved photographer in the community.
Beyond her artistic endeavors, Kym found great fulfillment in assisting special needs children in the Crooksville school system. Her dedication, warmth, and tireless commitment to advocating for these children ensured that they received the attention and care they deserved. Kym's compassionate heart and unwavering support touched the lives of countless families.
She had an innate ability to make lifelong connections, and her friendships spanned far and wide. Kym's generosity knew no bounds, and she selflessly offered her time and support to anyone in need. Her kindness and empathy were unparalleled, and her acts of compassion continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Kym is survived by her loving parents, Jeff and Julianne McCormick, who nurtured her spirit and guided her along life's path. She leaves behind her cherished sister-in-law, Kayla Lindimore, and her devoted brother-in-law, Nathan Lindimore, who were more like siblings than in-laws. Her beautiful children, Kamryn, Cole, and Clayton, will forever carry her love in their hearts. Kym's memory will also be forever cherished by her mother-in-law, Noreen Satterfield and her father-in-law, Steven Satterfield who precedes Kym in death, and her extended family, including cousins Donald Ray McCormick, Jessica M. Lewis, Jamie Stuart, Christy McManus, April McCormick, Kristan Kreckler and Wesley Bailey; niece McKayle Lindimore, niece Makreedy Lindimore, and cousins Liam Satterfield and Mason Satterfield, as well as a whole host of other friends, too many to mention.
