Julie Ann Frash-Wallace, 60, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She bravely fought a long battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family, who cherished her strength and determination throughout her illness.
She was born on March 21, 1965 in Zanesville, to the late Kenneth and Stella (Taylor) Frash.
Julie dedicated her life to caring for others as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) and found joy in her work at the local Dollar General until she could no longer continue due to her illness. Her compassionate nature extended beyond her profession; she had a remarkable talent for crafting. Julie was especially known for her beautiful grave blankets and exquisite wedding flowers, which she created with love and creativity. In addition to her crafting, Julie was renowned for her delightful holiday spirit. She transformed her home into a festive wonderland each Christmas, captivating friends and family with her enchanting decorations and hosting joyful holiday gatherings that brought everyone together in celebration. Julie was also a passionate dog lover, finding comfort and companionship in her beloved pets. Her nurturing and warm-hearted personality made her a treasured friend and family member, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Left behind to mourn her passing are her husband of 28 years, Chuck Wallace; her daughters, Erica Bolyard (Christopher Crawford) and Lisa (Mark) Sayre; her step-daughter, Autumn Wallace; her siblings, Debra Hurst, Tammy (Stan) Bradigan and Robert (Maggie) Frash; her grandchildren, Tyler (Dekota), Mackenzie (Nariah), Kenneth, Cysily, Bella, Presley and Hope; her great-granddaughters, Brinlynn, Kalianna and her caregivers, Diane Moore and Deana Woodruff as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Julie is preceded in death by her nephew, Kenneth Vanoster; her paternal grandparents, Theron and Olive Dennis and her maternal grandparents, Lillian Burris and Edward Taylor.
Julie Ann Wallace will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, her creative spirit, and the love she shared with those around her. A visitation will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Goebel Funeral Home & Cremation Services located at 36 North Buckeye St, Crooksville, OH 43731. A funeral service in honor of her life will take place the following day, Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at the funeral home. Julie will then me laid to rest in Crooksville Cemetery.
