John H. Allard

John Howard Allard, 59, of New Lexington, Ohio passed away at 11:53 PM, Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Mount Aloysius in New Lexington following an extended illness.

He was born March 11, 1957 in Zanesville, the son of the late Ellis 'Hot Shot' and Cora Jane (Bentley) Allard.

John is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy and Robert Allen of Zanesville, Janet and Jack Dalrymple of Crooksville and Jeannine and Larry Mercer of Zanesville; brother-in-law, Doug (Kris) Frecker of Logan; nieces and nephews, Rick, Jim, Debbie, Cathy, David and Betsy; several great nieces and great nephews and cousins

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five nephews, Randy Nelson, Jeffrey Dalrymple, Bobby, Andy and Billie Frecker.

Family and friends will be received 5-8 PM, Wednesday, June 8 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of John's life will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 9 at the funeral home with Pastor Marc Caton officiating. John will be buried with his parents in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, south of Crooksville.

John's family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at Mount Aloysius for the excellent care and attention he received for the past 27 years in their care. Contributions may be made in John's memory to Mount Aloysius Corp., P.O. Box 598, New Lexington, OH 43764. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
