Jessie Marie Frash, 95, formerly of Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 5:50 P.M., Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Adams Lane Care Center in Zanesville following an extended illness.
Jessie was born June 3, 1915 in Crooksville, the daughter of the late William and Lena Cunningham Roush. She was a former employee of the Watt Pottery in Crooksville and Nelson McCoy Pottery in Roseville. Mrs. Frash was a member of First Hope United Methodist Church and a former member of Eagles #1979 and VFW Auxiliary 9090 all in Crooksville.
She is survived by three sons, Larry (Sandy) Frash of Roseville, Rodney Frash of Athens and Steven (Wanda) Frash of Roseville; a special daughter-in-law, Judy Frash of Roseville; a special granddaughter, Jennifer (Norman) Sagle of Roseville; five additional grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Jessie was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Frash who passed away Nov. 18, 1967; her daughter, Nora Jane Cox; her infant son, Milton Frash; sisters, Dorothy, Thelma and Mildred and brothers, Cyril, Chester, Everett and Roy.
The Frash family will receive visitors 4-7 P.M., Tuesday, February 1 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE where funeral services and a celebration of Jessie's life will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, February 2 with Pastor Gay E. Blau officiating. Burial will follow in Crooksville Cemetery.
