Jeffery Allen Gilvin, 41, of Crooksville passed away at 6:41 PM, Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville.

Jeffery was born May 21, 1973 in Zanesville, the son of the late Cornelius "Neal" Gilvin and Kathy Crain Gilvin of the farm.

He was an employee of Massaro Trucking in Caldwell.

Jeffery is survived by his wife, Pauline Green Gilvin of the home; his daughter, Joselyn Gilvin; his sons, Matt (Gaile Cordle) Kinney, Tanner Gilvin and Bradey Starner all of the home; his sister Jamie (Jacob Kirkpatrick) Gilvin, his brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Vickie Gilvin; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Sam and Mary Lou McClelland his granddaughter, Railynn Kinney; his nephews, Josh Gilvin, Joey (Twila) Gilvin and Johnathan Gilvin; his great-niece, Emma Gilvin and his mother-in-law, Linda Green.

In addition to his father, Jeffery is preceded in death by his father-in-law Paul Green, Jr.

Friends and family will be received, 6:00 PM-8:00 PM, Thursday, October 30, 2014, 2:00 PM-4:00 PM & 6:00 PM-7:30 PM, with a celebration and remembrance of Jeffery's life at 7:30 PM on Friday October 31 at the GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE., with Pastor Marc Caton officiating. In keeping with Jeffery's wishes a dignified cremation will follow.
