James P. Pete Sowers

James Paul 'Pete' Sowers, 58, of Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 6:00 AM, Sunday, Decmeber 1, 2013 at his residence.

Pete was born June 8, 1955 in Zanesville, the son of the late Leonard and Frances Music Sowers.

He was a former area pottery worker.

Pete is survived by his children, Tina Sowers and Jimmy Sowers, both of Roseville, Lynn Dunkle and Michael Rodgers, both of Zanesville, and Amanda Jewell(David)Grubbs and Jason Sowers, both of Mt. Vernon; sister, Jennie(John)Simmons and brothers, Richard and Leonard 'Junior' Sowers; fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Dunlap Sowers and son, William Paul Sowers.

Mr. Sowers will be cremated. A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
