Jacob Gareth Lewis Brown

April 24, 1993 — July 20, 2025

Millersport

Jacob Gareth Lewis Brown, 32, of Millersport died in the evening hours of Sunday, July 20, 2025, following a lifelong battle with kidney disease.

He was born on April 24, 1993, in Zanesville, the son of Sherry (Robison) Carroll and Gerald Brown.

His number one priority in life was first and foremost his son, Liam. Jake was a proud, amazing and great Dad. Jake had many hobbies and interests in life, he enjoyed building LEGO creations with his son and collecting Pokémon Cards, of which he had many books and binders full. He was known for his affinity for water turtles and his freshwater fish tanks, having some of the best and biggest fish around.

Jake was a dedicated and loving family man; he loved his darling fiancé fiercely and was a Mama’s boy to the core. His gregarious personality and his charisma shaped who Jake was, he never met a stranger, he was always the light in the room and could always get a laugh out of people. He was a man of strength and courage, never letting his disease get the best of him, he was never bitter, he never let his lot in life discourage him from making someone else’s day better. Jake was bigger than life and made the lives of those around him better for having been here. He will be terribly and horribly missed by those that loved him.

Jake is survived in life by his son, Liam Wilson-Brown, his fiancé, Sarah Geary; his mother, Sherry Carroll; his siblings, Elaine (Vicki) Eblin, Shantay (Thomas) Byberg, Caitlyn (Aaron) Casey, Levi (Jasmine) Brown, Isaac (Waylina) Brown, Josh Carroll and Christopher (Crystal) Brown; as well as twelve nieces and nephews and a whole host of aunts and uncles.

Jacob is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Gladys Robison.

Jacob will be cremated with a celebration of life to follow from 1-3:00 PM, Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Crooksville Rec Center, 98 S. Buckeye St., Crooksville. The family invites everyone to bring a covered dish and to spend time with one another during this tragic time.
