Irene I. Jadwin

Irene I. Jadwin, 85, of Crooksville, Ohio passed away at 11:30 AM, Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville following an extended illness.

She was born December 12, 1930 in Morgan County, the daughter of the late Melvin James and Sarah (Garris) Sparks.

Irene was a homemaker, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great- great-grandmother and sister. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her loving family. Irene was a member of McLuney Wesleyan Church where she served as organist, Sunday school treasurer and teacher.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Kenneth Jadwin; her sons, Roger Jadwin of Crooksville, Ronald (Danita) Jadwin of Glenford and Kenneth Jadwin, Jr. (Joellen Meadows) of Newark and Mark Jadwin of Crooksville; her grandchildren, Angel (Brad) Creeks, Joshua Jadwin and Jason (Jessica) Jadwin; her great grandchildren, Hannah, Jayden, Clay, Hawke, Colt and Aliviah; her great-great granddaughter, Avalynn and her sisters, Joanne Wilson of Duncan Falls and Doris Hogue of Zanesville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Janie Ault, Georgie Edgell and Mary Galliway and her brothers, Steral Sparks, Jim Sparks and Arnold Sparks.

Family and friends will be received 4:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, July 12 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Irene's life will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 13 at the funeral home with Rev. John Jividen officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery in Portersville.
