Helen V. Wiggins

Helen V. Wiggins, 88, of Roseville (Saltillo), Ohio passed away at 1:10 PM, Saturday, August 10, 2013 at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born March 16, 1925 in Somerset, the daughter of the late Charles Everett and Sara Rosalie Patterson McCabe.

Helen was a homemaker. She attended United Methodist Churchs. Also, she was a member of Harvest Years Senior Citizens and volunteered at the New Lexington Senior Citizens Building. She also volunteered at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville and was a former member of Garden Club.

Helen is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Judy & Ray Gross of Zanesville and Cathy Sullivan of Roseville; her grandchildren, Rhonda(Kevin) Binkley, Shawn Sullivan and T.J. (Renee) Sullivan and her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Stemm and Alexis Sullivan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Berlin Wiggins who passed away April 14, 1994; her sister, Hazel Stalter and her brothers, Benjamin, Edward, Charles and Clarence McCabe.

Helen will be cremated and a private family graveside service will take place at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care, 713 Forest Ave., Zanesville, Ohio 43701. Envelopes are available at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE, OHIO 43731 who is caring for the Wiggins family. Helen's family wishes to extended their heartfelt gratitude to PCT's Jovita and Kim and all the wonderful nurses who cared for their mother, Helen.
