Helen Mae Bobb, 85, of Crooksville, Ohio passed away late Sunday evening, August 11, 2013 at her residence following a brief illness.
She was born December 25, 1927 in Lawrence County, the daughter of the late Thurman and Vada Adkins Hale.
Helen was a homemaker and the devoted mother of eleven children. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She attended Crooksville Free Methodist Church.
Helen is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Brenda and Jeff Yarger of Crooksville and Tina & Michael Bennett of Malta; her sons and daughters-in-law, James & Patricia Bobb of New Lexington, Terry & Diana Bobb, Mike & Rose Bobb, Bill Bobb, Dave & Sherry Bobb, Steve & Kelly Bobb and Tim & Lisa Bobb, all of Crooksville; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great- great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, George Edward Bobb who passed away February 20, 1997 and her sons, Roger and George Bobb.
Family and friends will be received 2:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday, August 14 at GOEBEL FUNERAL HOME, 36 N. BUCKEYE ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services and a celebration of Helen's life will be at 12 noon, Thursday, August 15 at the funeral home with Pastor Wilbur McKee officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Horeb Cemetery near Crooksville.
