Guy Joseph Bennett

December 12, 1992 — November 7, 2018

Taken from this world after only 25 years, it is with tremendous sadness, and with heart-wrenching pain that the family announces the death of Guy Joseph Bennett.

Guy was born the oldest son of Michael, Jr. and Tina (Bobb) Bennett of Malta on December 12, 1992.

Guy was employed by Epic Group Ohio where he was an incredibly tireless construction worker. Guy was a health nut, always staying in top physical condition-from clean eating to intense workout sessions. Along with his little-big brother, Michael, they spent their years growing up around motorcycles and dirt bikes. They were always keeping themselves busy in the outdoors. Of Guy's numerous qualities, his family would like to make known he had a tremendously large heart and was extremely loyal to his family and would do absolutely anything for them.

In addition to his parents, surviving Guy is his darling daughter, Leyla Bennett of Newark; his sisters, Dellamie Bennett of Malta, Destiny Bennett of Columbus and Brandi Beard of New Lexington and his grandparents, Ralph and Billie Clark and Michael Bennett, Sr.

Having only a short four months ago endured the agony of losing their youngest son in a motorcycle accident, Michael Joseph Bennett III, the Bennett family must now proceed with the funeral of their oldest son. It can be a truly unfair world, and no more proof is needed than parents who must bury both of their sons within the same year. The questions are endless and the answers are few, but his parents and siblings would like to invite all of Guy's family and friends to visit, 2:00 PM-8:00 PM, Friday, November 16, 2018 at the Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM on Friday with Jeff Yarger and Kyle Eveland presenting services. Guy will be cremated following the services and will forever remain with his family.
