Glenola Ruth Harris

Glenola Ruth Harris, 77, of Crooksville, Ohio passed away peacefully at 7:54 AM, on Saturday, September 27, 2025 with her loving family and friends by her side.  She was born on Tuesday, December 23, 1947 in Zanesville, the only daughter of the late William G. and Ruth (Shuster) Richardson. Glenola grew up in the McLuney area and attended Iliff United Methodist Church in her youth. She graduated in 1965 from Crooksville High School and, after that, worked various jobs until she married the love of her life, Paul Jeffrey Harris on November 1, 1969. She and Jeff began their life together and their family with the birth of their son, Joshua in 1980. She loved her wiener dogs that she called “her puppies”. Glenola’s greatest passion and her true calling was being a wife and a mother. She loved her family with all her heart and she will be sadly missed by them.  Left behind to carry on her legacy is her devoted son and daughter-in-law, Joshua Harris and Lisa Haubert; her only surviving brother, Jim Richardson; her sister-in-law, Jan Richardson; her ‘girls’ (as she called them), Karen Allen, Connie Jo Miller and Jennifer Lynn Pargeon; her special caregiver, Tammy Dickerson; her beloved nieces and nephews, Amy Harris, Jim Richardson, Bill Richardson, Lori Wilson and Mary Harmon; her close family friend, Kenny Miller and many special friends and caregivers. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to all the devoted caregivers who cared for her in her final days.  In addition to her parents, Glenola was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Jeffrey Harris who passed away February 25, 2015 and her brothers, Bob Richardson and Kenny Richardson.  Family and friends may visit to pay respects 10 AM-1 PM on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Goebel Funeral Home, 36 N. Buckeye St., Crooksville where funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM. Glenola will be laid to rest next to her husband in Crooksville Cemetery.
